Glastonbury 2017 Washout

Revellers at this year’s Glastonbury Festival had a double treat – glorious weather and indulgent, eco-friendly showers to freshen up at the Greenpeace showers.

Over 1,000 people each day enjoyed a refreshing hot shower at the legendary event at Worthy Farm, Somerset.

Hot water for the showers was provided by a Windhager BioWIN Excel wood pellet boiler. A constant supply of hot water was always on tap from dawn to dusk keeping festival goers clean and green.

Windhager UK were delighted to support Greenpeace and to provide one of their market leading wood pellet boilers for the festival. The BioWIN’s green credentials, presented virtually no environmental impact, the perfect match for environmental campaigners Greenpeace!
